Airport Heights Community-we know it's a last minute share! Fire Island will be supporting Airport Heights Elementary Dream Big Academy tomorrow, Wednesday September 2nd from 3-7pm! We hope to see you there!

We have a busy week at Airport Heights this week!
-We have our first PTA meeting on Tuesday, September 1st from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Library! All are welcome! We would love to have you!
-Our Open House is this Thursday, September 3rd from 5-6:30 pm! We have a fun scavenger hunt planned! This is a great to get to meet your child's teacher(s)! We can't wait to see you!

What an exciting few days at Airport Heights! We had our first lunch time Polar Bear Pick Recognition last Friday and our first PBIS assembly today!! Polars Bears DREAM BIG by being respectful, being responsible, and being safe!!

Airport Heights Families-mark your calendars for Open House on September 3rd. This will be a time to see your students' classrooms, meet their teachers and tour the school! The PTA will have Airport Heights swag for sale!

We are so proud of this young man! His 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Sellers gave him a summer reading challenge! He returned the challenge today 100% complete!! He worked so hard!!

Today, Airport Heights Elementary got a very special delivery!

Ben and Toni Merrill, who have been married for 50 years, stopped by to donate not one, but TWO Costco-sized packages of Kleenex to our school! 🧻❤️

But the best part? Ben is a former Airport Heights student! He started first grade here in 1963. More than 60 years later, he’s back—this time helping take care of the students and staff who call Airport Heights home.

Thank you, Ben and Toni, for your incredibly thoughtful donation and for being part of the Airport Heights family then, now, and always! 🐾
