Please join us Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM at The Salvation Army Anchorage Corps (1701 C Street) for a special time of worship and music ministry with Envoys Robert & Rhonda Venables!
Envoys Robert and Rhonda have shared their musical ministry together since 1974, traveling across Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa, and beyond. Robert has served as Principal Trumpet with several major orchestras and has performed with renowned Salvation Army bands around the world, including the Canadian Staff Band and International Staff Band. Rhonda’s distinguished career as a pianist, organist, and choir director has blessed countless audiences and ministries.
In 2019, they answered God’s call to become Salvation Army Music and Arts Directors for the Southern New England Division, and today they serve as Corps Officers in Whitehorse, Yukon.
Together, they have raised six Salvationist musician children who continue serving the Lord with their families.
Come be encouraged through their testimony, worship, and ministry!
Also, the Anchorage Korean Corps will be worshipping with us, followed by a time of food fellowship afterward.
Everyone is welcome!

Today, we remember those who did not come home.
Memorial Day belongs to the American service members who laid down their lives in our country's defense. To the families who carry the weight of that loss every day, not just today. To the children who grew up with a folded flag instead of a parent.
We pause. We remember. We give thanks for the freedom their sacrifice secured and for the God who walks with the grieving.
If you're remembering someone today, share their name in the comments. We'll pray with you.

Honoring the legacy, the mission, and the hearts behind the shield.
This National Salvation Army Week, we celebrate the bell ringers, volunteers, donors, staff, officers, and community partners who help serve neighbors in need every single day. Your compassion, generosity, and willingness to serve continue to bring hope, healing, and support to so many lives.
“Heart to God and Hand to Man” Thank you for being part of the mission and helping transform communities through love in action.

Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study
Join us this Saturday, April 18 at 9:30 AM for our Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study at The Salvation Army Anchorage Corps (1701 C Street).
We’re diving into the powerful book Twelve Ordinary Men by John MacArthur, focusing this week on Chapter 5: “John – The Apostle of Love.” Workbook questions will be provided to guide our discussion.
Want to help in the kitchen? We’d love the extra hands! Come a little early at 9:00 AM to assist with breakfast—eggs 🍳, bacon 🥓, coffee ☕️, and more—or reach out to Major Raymond.
Looking forward to a great time of food, fellowship, and growth together.
