The Library has updated the Study Room policies. Two or more students are required in the majority of the Group Study Rooms and there are four available for Group Study or an Online Class. The Individual Study Rooms remain a silent, single occupancy space.

It is a sad day for readers of all ages; Dolly Parton, founder of the Imagination Library, has passed away. Through this program, more than 3,000,000 children have received over 300,000,000 books delivered for free to their homes.

“So you work in a library? You must just read all day, right?” 📚

NOPE! ❌ We’re always on the move!

Ever wonder what it actually takes to move an entire collection? It takes weeks of time, endless coordination, and a LOT of elbow grease:

✅ A dedicated team
✅ Numbered carts to keep order in the chaos
✅ A crew that works hard and gets things done

After weeks of heavy lifting, we are officially in the final countdown for our Journal collection’s big move! That’s two floors, thousands of journals, and massive effort from our Access Services crew and amazing cross-department volunteers.

And believe it or not... this is our SECOND major collection move this year. Two down, one to go! 💪📦

Feeling a bit nostalgic today... was this really a year ago? 📸✨

If you’ve stopped by the UAA/APU Consortium Library lately, you’ve definitely noticed some major changes under way. (Huge thanks for bearing with us through the dust and noise!)

We figured if the inside is getting a makeover, why shouldn't our front entrance get one, too? 😉
