UAA Employee Wellness is an initiative of the University of Alaska Anchorage, Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER).

The UAA Employee Wellness is a student-led program out of the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at UAA that provides learning opportunities for students and improves the wellness of the UAA campus and Anchorage community. In August 2015, the UAA Staff Council requested the department to conduct an on-campus wellness program for staff. We have developed our program in response

I tried my hand at a Vegan Tikka Masala for today's lunch😛

In addition to the tofu, I added squash and zucchini to mine!
It added some great texture and was super tasty!

For today's breakfast, I am having homemade gluten-free honey bread with honey butter, apples, and pears, complimented by some mint leaf tea and a fresh smoothie!

This is the amazing recipe I follow to make this delicious homemade gluten-free honey bread!

In addition to the recipe, I like to add lemon or orange zest to give the bread that little extra zing and I always try to use local Alaska honey!
