I remember going to my very first congress outside of Alaska. It wasn’t just another trip, it was an experience that led me to do what I do today - spreading the love of dance! This year, .ak teens & tweens dance team got to participate in the . 🤩💫

This was an unforgettable experience for all of us. These girls have overcome so much since the beginning of the year, and reached new heights as dancers. They got up there and performed on a big stage in front of hundreds of people, took workshops with incredibly talented artists, watched amazing showcases together, and even trying out social dancing! Saying that I am proud would be a huge understatement. 👏💯

As the season comes to an end, I am feeling full of love and gratitude. Thank you to all of our supporters, especially the parents, for everything you’ve done. This wouldn’t have been possible without you all! 🥹💖

This year Luminary Dance Co had the honor of performing with at their annual Spring recital this year. This was a really special moment for us, as it was our first time as a group getting up on a giant stage to perform together in front of a big audience! 💃🕺🏼🪩

To my teens & tweens team - You have all grown so much as dancers in the past 6 months. I’m so proud of each of you for committing yourself to countless hours of practice inside and out of the studio, always being good friends and teammates to one another, and spreading your light to those around you. Keep it up, my little luminaries!!! 🌞🌛✨

To my Salsa On2 Shine group - Learning this routine in just 8 hours (some learned in less than that!!!) and then performing on a big stage was a huge feat. But I knew you could do it, and of course you all blew me away. This experience with you all has been so fun and special to me. I feel so fortunate to have all of you lovely people dancing alongside me. 👯👯‍♀️👯‍♂️

To & .nunes - I can confidently say that this trio has been one of the most fun and exciting dance experiences I’ve ever had. Every single move and aspect of the dance was choreographed by each of our unique creative perspectives. Which has made this dance one of a kind. This is what .project is all about!!! Coming together and collaborating to create something beautiful together. I’m so excited to see where this road takes us. 🥹💖✨

This was a huge milestone for LDC, and I couldn’t be more proud of all of these dancers. And the most exciting part is that this is just one small step in Luminary Dance Co’s journey as a new dance company. We’re shooting for the stars!!! And I can’t wait to see where it takes us. 🌟🌌💫
