Help us welcome APU’s FIRST Teacher Apprentices through A-CATE (Alaska Competency Apprenticeship for Teacher Education). These teacher apprentices represent the Bering Strait School District from Savoonga, Gambell, and Wales.

Alaska Pacific University has launched the A-CATE (Alaska Competency-Based Apprenticeship Teacher Education) program with Bering Strait School District. We welcomed our Field Experts from the village to campus for professional development this weekend. Spring 2025 apprentices begin.
