This is the official page of Lake Otis Elementary School. Our huskies are K-5th grade! We love our students and celebrate our community!
We are a Title 1 school with approximately 400 students, 20 classroom teachers, several certificated specialists along with para-professional support personnel. We provide a comprehensive K-6 program of instruction that includes two classrooms of special education intensive needs students. 85%+ of our students fall into the economically disadvantaged bracket. Anchorage elementary students and communities say goodbye to 3 closing schools Campbell STEM, Fire Lake and Lake Otis elementary schools closed at the end of the school year. Community members shared stories and memories during closure events, marking a bittersweet farewell.
