From our friend: Sam Buisman, Communications Officer at Covenant House Alaska. We are in the run-up to our Community Sleep Out fundraiser on April 15th. This fun, family event will give kids and parents alike a chance to learn about poverty and homelessness in our community in a constructive, safe manner while also enjoying a night of camping in the beautiful Kincaid Park. All funds will go towards supporting Covenant House Alaska in our mission of ending the experience of youth homelessness. To register or for more information, visit this website: sleepout.org/event/anchorage. If you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to ask. We hope to see Homeschoolers there!
