From our friend: Sam Buisman, Communications Officer at Covenant House Alaska. We are in the run-up to our Community Sleep Out fundraiser on April 15th. This fun, family event will give kids and parents alike a chance to learn about poverty and homelessness in our community in a constructive, safe manner while also enjoying a night of camping in the beautiful Kincaid Park. All funds will go towards supporting Covenant House Alaska in our mission of ending the experience of youth homelessness.
