Music in the mountains sounds just right for us 😉
These two festivals take place in the Arctic Valley and Hilltop Ski Areas, respectively. Both feature a wide array of local food, drinks, vendors, and musicians. You’re also encouraged to take advantage of the outdoor setting by taking a hike or mountain biking!

These small-scale local events pop up all around Anchorage. Some are free, some are outdoors, but all of them are worthwhile. Stay up to date on the Spenard Jazz Fest website or the Anchorage Concert Association website!

This year the Sullivan Arena will be hosting country music artist Chase Matthews, a Country BBQ, and a big Tacos & Tequila Music Fest. Get ready for good food and better music at these events!

Odd Man Rush Brewery in Eagle River has concerts almost every weekend. The artists span a wide range of genres, like country, folk or even heavy metal. It’s the perfect way to discover up-and-coming musicians!

UAA summer residents! Losing your keys all the time? Do they look dull and unappealing? Come to the Lizards and Lanyard Event, where you can design a lanyard for your keychain! Or make a beaded lizard to spark some summertime memories! This program is open to North Hall and MAC Residents and their guests. All supplies are provided.
