For the third year in a row, Wisdom is proud to be represented at the Arctic Visions Conference here in Alaska, where our President, Michael DeMolina, PhD, will be joining a panel discussion on Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).

At Wisdom, we believe ketamine is just one part of the healing process.

Our emphasis has always been on the psychotherapy.

Ketamine can create an opening, but lasting healing comes through thoughtful preparation, a safe therapeutic relationship, and skilled integration that helps people bring new awareness into everyday life.

That’s why our KAP program is built around trauma-informed care. We integrate preparation, supported sessions, and integration using evidence-informed approaches that help people work compassionately with the emotions, memories, and protective patterns that may emerge during treatment.

Our goal isn’t simply to provide ketamine.

Our goal is to help people heal.

We’re honored to be part of the ongoing conversation about the future of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy in Alaska, and we’re grateful to Arctic Visions for bringing together clinicians, researchers, and community leaders committed to advancing safe, ethical, and effective care.

Honored to be joining this year’s Arctic Visions Conference as part of a panel exploring the future of psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Over the past three years, we’ve had the privilege of building one of Alaska’s first Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) programs at Wisdom Traditions. Along the way, I’ve become even more convinced that when these medicines are paired with ethical medical care, trauma-informed / trauma-sensitive therapy, and skilled integration, they can become Powerful catalysts for healing!

I’m looking forward to a thoughtful conversation about where this field is headed, what we’re learning, and how we continue building it with both scientific integrity and deep respect for the human experience.

After spending an incredible week at Onen’to:kon Healing Lodge in Kanehsatà:ke Mohawk Territory (Oka), I'm grateful to continue the journey here in Akwesasne Mohawk Territory, where the community itself spans Québec, Ontario, and New York.

This isn't just another workshop.
It's a community wide Tap-a-thon!

For TWO full days, we're meeting with as many different groups in the community as possible—first responders, helping professionals, caregivers, students, families, and anyone looking for practical tools to navigate stress, anxiety, trauma, addiction, or life's everyday challenges.

One of the things I love most about this format is that healing isn't reserved for one profession; counselor or coach.

This is about being human. Every one of us experiences loss, stress, grief, uncertainty, and moments when life feels heavier than it should.

If we can give people even one practical tool that helps them feel a little more grounded, a little more hopeful, and a little more connected to themselves and those they love, then it's a day well spent.

I'm deeply grateful to the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne for the invitation and to everyone who has welcomed me so warmly this past week.
