Highland Families,

We have MAP Growth testing for 6th-9th graders, and some 10th-11th graders coming up over the next two weeks. The MAP Growth assessment is designed to measure a student's growth and progress over time. It provides our teachers more information on each student's academic strengths and areas for growth.

Our initial testing begins next week in Advisory. Students will take their reading test on Tuesday, September 8th and their math test on Thursday, September 10th.

Finally, we will need fully charged Chromebooks coming to school on test days. If your child has their own personal computer, they'll be checking out an ASD Chromebook for the test session, as tests are only accessible through school issued Chromebooks.

Hello, Highland Families,

Highland Academy Charter School does not follow the ASD staggered start schedule. We are excited to welcome ALL students back on Wednesday, August 19th!

As a friendly reminder, Highland has early release every Wednesday, with student pick-up at 2:00 p.m. This schedule begins on the first day of school, so please plan accordingly.

We can’t wait to welcome our students back and kick off a wonderful school year together!
