Anchorage sees record breaking jump in rental prices, up 14%
In 2021, rental prices were on average $1,172. However, this year, according to the Alaska Economics Trends September 2022 report, prices have increased to $1,339.

FAIR HOUSING - A Practical Guide to Leasing and Operating Apartment Rentals

Alaska Housing Relief Program - Alaska Housing is running a rent/mortgage relief program with $10 million in CARES funding. The deadline for applying is Friday, June 26, 11:59p.m.
The Alaska Relief Program is pretty straight forward. If a tenant struggles with paying rent caused by loss of income due to COVID he/she can apply at www.alaskahousingrelief.org for assistance. If he/she qualifies the payment will go directly to the landlord, or in the case of a homeowner to the lender.
