We are looking for a Lead Teacher to join the Bayshore Early Learning Center team in South Anchorage!

If you are passionate about early childhood education and want to work somewhere that genuinely values what you do, this might be the right fit. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable educator who loves creating safe, engaging environments where young children can thrive.

Experience with young children is preferred, and the ability to meet Alaska Licensing requirements is required. A CDA or early childhood coursework is a plus, but not required.

Please join us in welcoming two new faces to the Bayshore Early Learning Center family: Jirah and Michelle.

๐ŸŒž Every family's morning looks a little different. That's why BELC offers flexible drop-off, so you're not rushing to make a rigid start time work.

Once they're in, the day has a rhythm: activities, learning time, snack, outdoor play. Structured enough that kids know what to expect, relaxed enough that they can just be kids.

Flexible pickup at the end of the day usually comes with a story or two ๐Ÿ˜Š

At BELC, we say it all the time: play is how children learn. ๐ŸŒŸ

When your child builds a block tower, they're practicing math and engineering. When they act out a story, they're developing language and empathy. When they work through a disagreement with a friend, they're building social skills that last a lifetime.

Our teachers design every activity with this in mind, whether it's circle time, outdoor play, or a simple art project. The learning is always happening, even when it looks like fun.
