West Anchorage High School Class of 1974

For those of you that are planning on attending the Catch Up Event at the Peanut Farm on Saturday August 10th - We will be gathering in the Original Side of the Peanut Farm - we should have some signs that point the way. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

I got off to a slow start this year, for various reasons. The responses I have received, around 25 of them, to having a formal Reunion this year on August 10th, suggest to me that the majority of participants would be locals, and that spending monies held over from previous years might be viewed as unfair to those that are no longer locals. I was prepared to host an event at my home, and when that became impossible, at a venue such as a restaurant or community center. For such a small group, it appears the best path forward for 2019 is to hold a simple gathering for those available at a venue open to the public, and meet there throughout the evening.

So, for 2019, I've booked the Peanut Farm (near the pool tables) for a Class of 1974 Catch Up. I plan to be there around 5 PM, and look forward to seeing as many classmates as may choose to come by.

Sorry for the late notice - gauging interest in August 10th for the 45th reunion - need to know how many might attend to determine venue and catering.

Please like the Facebook post if you are interested (or reply by the email that will be coming to known addresses shortly) by July 17th.

If there is sufficient interest, a venue will be booked and an event created via Facebook as well.
