My experience on the trumpet was 12 years from grade school through college, and I take great pride in teaching the basics of music, the favorite songs of my students, & helping to form small practice groups, when desired…..yes, I do encourage practice as a fun & regular activity!
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education K-12 from the University of Washington ~~I truly love what I do & believe music can bring peace & joy to your life.
My specialty is to provide fundamentals for my students, nurturing their ability to become independent learners of the musical language.

I love when the 'trumpet gang' comes to my home studio; this is a demo regarding 'how to breathe when playing a wind instrument or when singing' ~~~~~~ usually, I just recommend that a student go try this at home, but these gents were game to give it a try...
