BACK TO SCHOOL

Happy First Day of School, Anahuac ISD!

The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office wishes all students, teachers, and staff a safe and successful start to the new school year. Our Campus Security Deputies are excited to be back on campus and committed to keeping everyone safe as classes begin.

Stay alert in school zones, watch for buses, and help us make this year a great one for our Panthers!

Today, the amazing staff at Anahuac Middle School took a break from preparing for the school year to enjoy a little fun while building relationships and networking around our community. Along the way, they even spotted a few school board members and administration personnel!

We are so thankful to be part of a community that supports our schools. Here’s to laughter, teamwork, and kicking off an incredible school year together!

AMS is excited to welcome all of our students back for the first day of school tomorrow, Friday, August 7!

Please review the important arrival and dismissal information below to help us have a smooth start to the school year.

Morning Arrival
Doors open: 7:00 a.m.
Car Riders: Please drop students off in front of the AMS Gym.
Bus Riders: Buses will unload in the back bus lane.
Upon arrival, students will report to their designated holding area until the 7:25 a.m. bell. Every student will receive a colored copy of their schedule to follow due to possible schedule changes.

Holding Areas

6th Grade: Compact Center
7th Grade: Auditorium
8th Grade: Cafeteria

The tardy bell rings at 7:30 a.m.

Afternoon Dismissal

School dismisses at 3:30 p.m.

Car Riders: Students will report to the front of the AMS Gym for pickup.
We load four vehicles at a time, so please have your child watch for your vehicle to help keep the line moving efficiently.
Bus Riders: Students will report to the bus line after dismissal.
Walkers: Students will exit through the gym doors and walk home.

The AMS staff has been working hard this week to get everything ready for an amazing school year! From preparing classrooms to organizing schedules and putting the finishing touches on campus, our team is excited to welcome our AMS Panthers back.

We can’t wait to see all of our students on Friday for the first day of the 26-27 school year! It’s going to be a fantastic year filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable memories.
