Fall was fun times at Miss Susan's Daycare. September, October, and November we had lots of free play after school - gardening, crafts, puzzles, and more. Miss Susan has a remarkable way of extending classroom learning with creative activities. There's always great times at Miss Susan's Daycare!

Fun times as usual at Miss Susan's Daycare! School has begun but there's still lots of time after school for crafts, activity centers, and playtime. August was an especially crafty month. One of our favorite crafts was taking butterfly orchids and turning them into beautiful works of art. We've also become awesome Puzzle Masters. There's always something new and interesting to learn at Miss Susan's Daycare.

Summertime at Miss Susan's Daycare is always full of SUPER FUN activities! 🌞⛱💛
❤Wednesday picnic lunches are a yummy treat, especially cooking dishes together, like baked cheesy cornbread and homemade pizzas.
❤We love our time in the garden! The flowers are LOVING all the sunshine. Our sunflower gave us a great harvest of seeds - some to eat and some to replant for the fall. We've also harvested lots of tomatoes from our plants.
❤We enjoy being creative too! We gathered nature items from the garden to make beautiful pictures during Craft Time. We painted some take home projects, played dress-up, and made clay insect models.
❤In the afternoons, we have drawing time and review our schoolwork to keep us sharp, not to mention more playtime and dancing to end the day.
Summer has been a blast, but we're excited for school to start soon. It will be great to be learning in the classroom again, plus more fun after school at Miss Susan's Daycare.

We started the month of May with Earth Day. Our tomatoes and sunflowers are growing beautufully. We made a craft of a person walking a dog out of leaves, and a sweet card and planted seeds for Mom on Mother's Day. By the end of the month, both front teeth came out. (Thanks, Tooth Fairy, for the money! 😁)

Distance learning is officially done and our Summer Vacation activities began on June 14th. Miss Susan always has fun learning activities each day!!

We are continuing with Distance Learning each day, followed by playtime at Miss Susan's Daycare.

Every month at Miss Susan's Daycare is filled with fun and learning. January was no exception! After the daily Distance Learning lesson is completed, Miss Susan provides fun enrichment activities to continue learning. This month, we enjoyed crafts, science projects, dress-up time, and play time.

Miss Susan's Daycare had a very merry December. 🎄☃️ We accomplished so much with distance learning and had a fun Winter Dress Up Day for school. We completed holiday crafts, like Christmas tree ornaments and a T'was the Night Before Christmas book. We baked and decorated sugar cookies, and we exchanged Christmas presents. A wonderful holiday at Miss Susan's Daycare!

November was all about fall! 🍂🦃

Distance Learning together continues. Plus, we had lots of fun playing and making crafts to celebrate the season. I even received a pinecone turkey as a gift to display on our Thanksgiving table.

We are THANKFUL for each other at Miss Susan's Daycare. 🧡❤🤎

We had an awesome October at Miss Susan's Daycare! We continue to work on distance learning for most of the day. Our afternoons are filled with activities, like playtime, arts and crafts, and dress up. We look forward to our Fun Fridays--minimum school day, share time, a movie and popsicles in the afternoon. Miss Susan always plans cool kids fun!

Hooray for another great month at Miss Susan's Daycare!! September was fun! We finally got to harvest the last of our summer garden vegetables: baby carrots. 🥕 Sooo cute!! We are becoming Distance Learning professionals. 🤓 We are learning a lot. Plus, we had a tea party and some super fun dress up days, like Crazy Hair Day and Disney Day. It's always tons of fun at Miss Susan's Daycare.

The school year has begun! It's a team effort at Miss Susan's Daycare as we adjust to the school's distance learning schedule after our summer program.
