Coach Jesse Jesse Sapolu returns to training this week after traveling to Melbourne, Australia for work with the San Francisco San Francisco 49ers.

Back on the daily grind with our SDA athletes—building, teaching, competing, and stacking those small bricks one day at a time.

Watching our SDA alumni compete at the high school level is a reminder for our current student-athletes of just how far hard work can take you.

The early mornings.
The tough days.
The sacrifices.
The practices nobody saw.
The moments when you had to keep going when no one was watching.

It’s because of all the small bricks you continue to stack, one day at a time, that you’re standing where you are today.

So be proud of how far you’ve come—but don’t stop building.

🏈 SDA AT THE BOLT! ⚡️Thank you to the Los Angeles Chargers
for having us!

SDA kicked off our first field trip of 2026 with a fun day at The Bolt, home of the Los Angeles Chargers.

Our students had the incredible opportunity to experience a professional NFL training environment and watch the Los Angeles Chargers take on the San Francisco San Francisco 49ers in a joint practice.

Learning extends beyond the classroom and experiences like this give our students the opportunity to see discipline, teamwork, preparation, leadership, and excellence in action.

Ready for a great year ahead!

SDA Summer Session 1 is officially in the books! 💪🏽🏈

Over the past few weeks, our kids put in work in the weight room, on the field, and even in the classroom. We’re proud of the growth, effort, and commitment shown throughout camp.

A huge thank you to Assistant OL coach for spending the past 2 weeks with us at SDA Summer Camp! Wishing you the best of luck this upcoming season as you head back to work. Thank you again for pouring into this great group of kids!

💪🏽🏆 10 MONTHS. COUNTLESS REPS. INCREDIBLE RESULTS. 🏆💪🏽

We couldn't be more proud of our SDA student-athletes and the incredible progress they've made in the weight room this year. The numbers are impressive, but what makes us proudest is the discipline, consistency, and commitment they showed every single day.

These gains weren't given—they were earned.

To all of our athletes: thank you for trusting the process, pushing your limits, and proving what happens when hard work meets opportunity.

SDA is excited to partner with OSA WRAP's Ready4Life Youth Program, a FREE 3-day interactive workshop designed to help young people prepare for life beyond the classroom.

Participants will learn:
✅ Strong communication skills
✅ Healthy relationships
✅ Goal setting for a brighter future

All of the small gains made over the last 10 months have led to this week. Every rep, every set, every early morning, and every challenge overcome has built toward this week.

So proud of our student-athletes and the work they've put in all year long. The numbers on the bar are just a reflection of the discipline, consistency, and effort they've shown day after day.
