A member of the North Orange County Community College District (NOCCCD), which also includes Cypress College and Fullerton College, North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) has been cultivating change for over 40 years with educational programs and services from high school diploma completion, English-language acquisition, career technical education training, and self-development courses. NOCE serves nearly 20,000 students annually, ranging from preschoolers to seniors, at three Center locations in Anaheim, Cypress, and Fullerton as well as more than 30 community locations. Taught by quality instructors and staff who are passionate about student success, NOCE courses are affordable, short-term, accessible and designed for all ages. NOCE participated in the recent Vision 2030 Noncredit Summit, held October 7-9, 2026 in Newport Beach. The 2026 Noncredit Summit is a statewide gathering focused on strengthening noncredit education as a pathway to higher education, workforce preparation, and economic mobility for adult learners. It brought together educators, administrators, and workforce partners from across California. Although hosted by Rancho Santiago Community College District, more than 25 NOCE administrators, staff, faculty, and students participated in this year's summit.

NOCE's Dean of Disability Support Services Dr. Adam Gottdank served as a moderator of a panel on the first day: The Role of Noncredit Supporting Individuals with Disabilities. Staff member Lorri Guy participated in the discussion on the panel which included student Ernesto Garcia, speaking of his experience as a DSS program student and his outcomes of gaining meaningful employment. Ernesto was also just elected as the President of the Student Advocacy and Social Club.

In addition, several NOCE team members participated as panelists and speakers on workforce development, noncredit foundations and attendance accounting, educational partnership, and leadership wisdom; thank you to Dr. Byron D. Clift Breland, Valentina Purtell, Dr. Lisa Mednick Takami, Dulce Delgadillo, and Neshia Jenkins. We were also thrilled to have NOCE's Student Trustee Yellckin Brenes and Cypress College Dr. Scott Thayer join us at the Noncredit Summit.

All students are invited to the NOCE Learning Center. Our Learning Center offers free in-person academic support and tutoring to all NOCE students. 📚With dedicated instructors, instructional assistants, and tutors, we’re here to help students strengthen their skills, keep up with coursework, and build confidence in a welcoming and supportive environment. 🟢 Note that our hours are Monday thru Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You can drop by the Center anytime to study or get assistance, and our staff will help you enroll in ABED 105 (CRN 50502). Prefer to do it online? Register easily through myGateway!
