Our hearts are broken as we grieve the loss of our cousin.

Zarad and I got really close in our adult years uniting as bossy Aries babies, foodies and surfing and brunch on Saturdays.

We even did a cousin trip to Hilo with and and our friends which was one of the most memorable times together (see the last slide of us singing our hearts out in our rental car to the Lizzie Mcguire movie soundtrack😆)

He was not only a great cousin, because if you know me, you know my cousins are like my siblings, but he was a loving brother & uncle to his nieces and nephews, a loving grandson and great-grandson. A competitive game player (always itching to cheat the game lol). A hardworker. Thoughtful. Always showing up to family gatherings with way too many pans of food because that’s how he shows his love.

Holding his parents, siblings, and all who loved him close in our hearts. Trusting God to hold us when the pain feels unbearable. Hug your people a little tighter. 🤍

DAY 3 | So glad we got to see the beautiful temple grounds of our Seoul Korea Temple. They were closed for cleaning and so was their distribution store so we were bummed we couldnt buy any of the new garment styles yet 😅 KFC is much different here but the zesty truffle one was tasty. Explored Bukchon Hanok and then KBBQ again

Three years of eternity complete ✨
This past year felt like it packed a lifetime of challenges into just 12 months — the most bittersweet being that we now have a little one waiting for us on the other side of the veil 🤍

Through it all, the best part has been knowing it’s you and me against the world. With God’s power and the covenants we made at the altar three years ago, I know we’ll always make it through — and even be surprised with more than we could have asked for.

Year four already looks full of positive shifts for our family, and as long as you keep making me laugh every day, I know we’ll keep writing a story worth telling.
