It was our honor to present our 2024-25 PTA Honorary Service Awards!

Congratulations to all of the recipients who received this well-deserved recognition 🎉

Honorary Service Award Recipients: Mrs. Pulido, Mrs. Raja, Ms. Val and Ms. Rodriguez
These special individuals demonstrate outstanding service to our Rio Vista children and youth. They are all so special and dear to Rio Vista.

Continuing Honorary Service Recepient:
Mr. J. Gomez
He has demonstrated continued outstanding service to our Rio Vista children and youth. We are lucky to have him.

Outstanding Administrator Recipient:
Mr. Casaba
He demonstrates outstanding service in positively impacting the lives and welfare of children and youth at Rio Vista and in the district.

Golden Oak Service Recipient:
Ms. Ely
She has made significant contributions to the welfare of children and youth at Rio Vista, earning the most prestigious Honorary Service Award.

Wrapping up Volunteer Appreciation Week, we have to give a shout-out to our 2024-25 PTA award recipients.🌟🫶👏

Congratulations to our PTA Volunteer of The Year Erika Martinez 🎉
Erika has volunteered countless hours alongside the board at nearly every event and call for volunteer support this year. Her unwavering dedication to supporting Rio Vista is very much appreciated. Thank you, Erika!

Congratulations to our PTA Lasting Legacy recipients Nataly Navarro and Elizabeth Rodriguez 🎉
As these wonderful ladies move on from Rio Vista, we had to acknowledge their time spent volunteering on the PTA Board and their impact that leaves a lasting legacy at Rio Vista. Their love for the community was demonstrated through their hundreds of volunteer hours spent making Rio Vista the best it can be over the years.Thank you, ladies!

PYLUSD held their annual Exceptional Educators awards this evening

SPED teachers and support staff across the district were honored. 3 of Rio Vista's own were recognized through nominations from the families they support for outstanding work with special needs students.

Congratulations to our RBT Mrs Pulido who received a special "star award" . Mrs Chen and Ms Chaney were also honored as Outstanding Educators.
