🌱 Empowering Students to Lead Change—One Action at a Time
At Fairmont, sustainability isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something our students actively lead.
Through our Food Upcycling Club, students are making a real impact by collecting unsold food from local shops and delivering it to individuals and organizations in need. In doing so, they are not only reducing food waste but also contributing to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal #2: Zero Hunger.
More importantly, initiatives like these help students develop a strong sense of agency, leadership, and purpose. They learn that their actions matter—and that even small efforts can create meaningful change in their communities and beyond.
