Some sad news we have to share: our beloved chihuahua Apollo (aka PoPo) has passed away. Many of you will remember him listening in on lessons from the back of my chair or sleeping in his little bed in the corner. He was surely a music dog, being immersed in it from day one. He came along to many concerts, recital set ups and hundreds of lessons over the last 13 years we were blessed to have him. 💔🎶🐕

Summer is a wonderful time for band students to keep their skills strong, build confidence, and continue growing as musicians! Private lessons can help students retain what they learned during the school year while also giving them the opportunity to learn new music, strengthen fundamentals, and prepare for next year’s band experience.

I am a public school Elementary Band Director and my primary instrument is flute. I also teach the other band instruments, including school percussion, for summer lessons at Verruso Music Studio.
