Our Homecoming Parade was a blast, and we have a LOT of people to thank for helping make it happen!

A huge shoutout to our community participants:
🚓 Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and Ammon Police for keeping our roads closed and everyone safe!
🚒 Fire Engine 3, Bonneville County Fire District, and Ammon Mayor Brian Powell
🇺🇸 U.S. Submarine Veterans and USS Idaho
🚛 City of Ammon and their street sweeper, garbage truck, and Vactor truck
👏 Crown Plumbing, CEI, JM Mechanical HVAC Service Pros, A Touch Above Cleaning, and Frontier Credit Union

And of course, our own Cougar crew! Our PFA, Sources of Strength Student Ambassadors, Music Club, Band, Basketball, Book Club, Debate Club, and Student Council all brought the school spirit!

Thank you to everyone who participated, helped organize, or came out to cheer us on! And thank you to the PFA who provided candy for everyone!

We love seeing our school and community come together.

History meets STEM in 6th grade! 🏛️

For Parthenon Day, students learned about the history of the Parthenon, then put their STEM skills to work building their own mini versions out of LEGO! History, engineering, and a little creativity all in one lesson.

The NED Yo-Yo Sale is coming!

Our students will be learning NED’s message: Never give up, Encourage others, Do your best! After the assembly, families can purchase a NED yo-yo to help pay the program forward to another school.

Once the yo-yos arrive, we’ll pass them out to students at school!

A glimpse of the Idaho State University campus tour our 10th-12th grade students took on Friday! Of course they had to end by eating at the campus Chick-fil-A for lunch.

Kickball has officially been settled. For now. 🏆

6th–7th: Briscoe takes the Cougar Cup! Briscoe and Norviel both finished 3–1, forcing us to break out the tiebreaker. Final damage: Briscoe 26 runs, Norviel 19.

High School: Pizinger/Jensen left absolutely no room for a tiebreaker, going 4–0 and taking the Cup undefeated.

Congrats to our kickball champs. Enjoy the bragging rights while they last.

Next up: Ultimate Frisbee.

We’re finishing Cougar Pride Week tomorrow with Spirit Day + PFA Popcorn Friday! 🐾🍿

Wear your favorite White Pine spirit gear and bring 50¢ for popcorn!

Elementary reminder: Students may be out of regular uniform Friday only if they are wearing White Pine spirit wear. Otherwise, regular uniform is required.

We wanted to share this community resource for anyone that might need it! 🩴

Update: If you plan to attend the Blackfoot shoe distribution today, do not park in the building parking lot or in front of the building along Ash St. until 3:00pm. Please do not line up outside the building until 3:00pm. We have parents picking their children up prior to that time, and we need to allow for a smooth and safe transition. Thank you!

Thanks to the generous donations provided by the 2025 Giving Machine, EICAP will be distributing Shoe Shopping Passes for childrens shoes. Passes are good at participating Shoe Department locations in Idaho Falls, Rexburg, and Chubbuck. Please review the post for additional information, and watch our page for future posts on distribution locations, dates, and times.

EDIT: just to clarify, the child doesn't have to be present to pick up the voucher, but they do need to be present when it is redeemed in the store. These are free and worth $30 towards the purchase of a pair of shoes. Thank you!

Plus, Champ will be making an appearance to “part the Red Sea” during lunch/recess!

Elementary reminder: Thursday is still a uniform day, so students can participate by wearing their red uniform polos.
