With Deepest Sympathy

It is with profound sadness that the Northeastern Adventist Academy–Long Island family shares the passing of Mrs. Woods.

Mrs. Woods was a devoted and cherished member of our school family whose love and dedication touched every corner of our community. She faithfully served in countless ways—helping organize school fundraisers, assisting in the school store, designing our school shirts, leading the Alumni Association, and always volunteering wherever she was needed. Her creativity, leadership, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to our school left a lasting impact on students, staff, alumni, and families alike.

Mrs. Woods was also a proud NAA-LI parent, celebrating the graduations of her two sons in previous years and, most recently, her daughter, Gyzelle, a member of the Class of 2026.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Gyzelle, her brothers, and the entire Woods family. Please keep them in your prayers as they navigate this tremendous loss.

🇫🇷🎶 Bravo, 3rd Grade! 🎶

Our talented 3rd grade class beautifully performed “Tous Joyeux Bénissons,” the French version of “In the Sweet By and By,” during our Spring Concert.

Under the direction of their French teacher, Mrs. Obas, our students confidently sang in French, showcasing not only their musical talents but also the language skills they’ve been developing throughout the school year. Their joyful voices and enthusiasm made for a wonderful performance!

Well done, 3rd Grade, and thank you, Mrs. Obas, for inspiring a love for language and music. 💙💛
