Jace Rice was selected as one of only THREE students in Arkansas to serve as a voting delegate at the National FFA Convention & Expo! He will travel with the Arkansas FFA state officers and state staff to Indianapolis, where he will represent our state and serve as a voice for Arkansas FFA.

We are incredibly proud of Jace and know he will represent Centerpoint FFA and Arkansas FFA well! Congratulations, Jace! 🎉

Plant Science II students learned how to propagate plants via air-layering. Yesterday they practiced on muscadine vines and today they practiced on a fig tree.

(Normally this would be done in the spring after leaves have emerged, but we are hopeful to be successful before the weather turns too cold.)

We may be a little late posting, but these accomplishments are WAY too good not to celebrate! 💙💛

Centerpoint FFA had so much to be proud of at the 2026 Arkansas FFA State Convention! From chapter recognition to individual achievements and leadership opportunities, our members represented Centerpoint well.

🏆 Centerpoint FFA was recognized as a Models of Excellence Award Finalist, an incredible honor recognizing the work our chapter and members have put in throughout the year!

🌟 Blakley Thompson was recognized as a State Proficiency Award Winner in Sheep Production!

💙 Jace Rice was selected to serve on the State FFA Audit Committee, giving him the opportunity to take part in official State Convention business and represent our chapter in a leadership role.

🎓 We were also proud to see several Centerpoint FFA members receive their Arkansas FFA State Degree, the highest degree the Arkansas FFA Association can bestow upon a member:
• Haylee Trujillo
• Aaron Lambert
• Gracie Gillaspy
• Jace Rice

And those are just a few of the highlights from an incredible State Convention!

We are proud of every student who competed, served, walked across the stage, and represented Centerpoint FFA. These accomplishments are the result of countless hours spent working on SAEs, preparing applications, serving our chapter, and saying YES to opportunities.

This week, several of our members attended the Arkansas Leadership Conference (ALC) at Camp Couchdale. Throughout the week, they participated in leadership workshops, met FFA members from across the state, and challenged themselves to grow as leaders while embracing this year’s theme, Stand Proud.

One of the highlights of the week was that every Centerpoint member participated in flag raising or lowering ceremonies, representing our chapter with professionalism and respect.

We’re also excited to recognize two members for special accomplishments:
⭐ Blakley was selected to serve as Secretary during the banquet.
⭐ Olivia was selected as a Creed Speaker.

We’re proud of the way this group represented Centerpoint FFA all week. They came home with new ideas, new friendships, and experiences that will help strengthen our chapter in the coming year.
