Centerpoint Jr. Beta

Bundt cake orders are due by tomorrow at Parent Teacher Conferences! I have been announcing it to students for the last week, but I also wanted to put it on here!

Parents:

Jr. Beta students will be bringing home information this week about our upcoming fundraiser that is about to begin! This fundraiser is going to help us raise money for our club and upcoming projects. Your child will be bringing home an order sheet, information sheet, and a paper telling the different prize opportunities for this fundraiser! Expect the information to all come home tomorrow! Permission slips for our state convention will be coming home with students Monday! Please watch for them and return them as soon as possible!

Our convention is 2 weeks from today! I have 44 students competing and I am so excited! This is the largest group of students I have ever had to compete. I know they will represent our school well!

Just so you can plan, here are some details. These will also be on the permission slips so you will have them on paper as well.

**We plan on eating pizza for lunch. I am looking for a couple of businesses/people to sponsor our lunch that day. If that is something you would be interested in doing, please let me know.

**Please also make sure your child eats breakfast prior to getting to school. We will not be here for grab and go breakfast.

**They do not need to bring backpacks.

**Students need to wear jeans, without holes.

**Please send $10 to help pay for your child’s Beta t-shirt. I will give them their Beta t-shirts Wednesday morning before we load the bus, so no one forgets to wear them. 🙂

Schedule for January 22nd:

*Bus leaves Centerpoint School: 8:00 am

*Bus arrives back at school: Approximately 6:30 pm. (Hopefully earlier, I will have your child call or text when we leave Hot Springs) This will depend on the events and when our last group finishes. Our Engineering group will be last, and they start at 5:00.

Feel free to share the flyer for Friday! We will be there starting at 8:30 and will stay until we sell out. This will be donation only other than whole cakes & pies—they will have a price tag!

Good morning! Our bake sale is this Friday. If you plan to contribute to the sale, please send a baked item with your student Thursday to school or drop it off at school by the end of the school day Thursday. If you can’t bring one, please send the $40 to pay for their way to go to state convention in January! Let me know if you have any questions.

Our bake sale is coming up! It is 1 week from this Friday, on November 15th. I need all baked goods/donated goods to be at school by 4:30 on Thursday, November 14th. If you haven't seen a form about this yet, please ask your son/daughter to show it to you. I sent each Beta member home with a form about 2 weeks ago. If another form is needed, please comment below and I will make another copy and send it with your student today. I really appreciate all the forms that have already been sent back and all the support we are getting from parents!

Good afternoon! We are planning a Jr. Beta bake sale at Wrights! It costs about $40 per student to attend the state convention in Hot Springs in January. I’m trying to help lower that cost for the students attending convention and competing.

I will post soon with more details, but I will be needing baked goods/store bought goods donated to sell. I’m so excited to see what all our Beta kids will do this year!
