A LITTLE BIT OF HELPFUL INFORMATION AS WE ENTER AUGUST:

School for all 1st-5th graders will begin on Monday, August 31st!
Kindergarten students will begin on Tuesday, September 8th.
Doors open, and Breakfast service (free for all students) starts at 7:30 am.
School starts at 7:55 am for K-5.
Lunch for students is also free (students are charged for 'seconds' if they get them).

Join us at our Open House event to find out your teacher and drop off school supplies (families who are unable to attend this event can bring school supplies on the first day of school for their student).

Sometimes….we all need a FRIDAY FOAM PARTY at school!!!

Thank you to all the parents who sent an extra change of clothes and towels, or who made a trip down to the school to take care of their wet kids.

I hope they all made fantastic core memories today!!! 🥰

Tomorrow is a Friday school day for our kiddos! Traditionally, this is a pajama day. However, I wanted to let you know that I do have a surprise activity planned for all of the students who come to school!!
1. Please send your student in clothes and shoes that are okay to get wet.
2. IF you think your student is responsible enough, you may send them with a towel (and a plastic bag to put it in). I will leave that to your discretion.
3. Students are still welcome to wear pajamas, but keep in mind they will get slightly wet during part of their school day.

We look forward to seeing you TOMORROW for our Friday SURPRISE!

The wait is almost over!!
Tomorrow is our school carnival.

Join us at the elementary school from 3 to 7 PM. We will have games, concessions, bounce houses, and prizes! 

Tickets are a $1 each, or purchase 25 tickets for $20.
Concessions for sale, prices vary. APaTT accepts cash or Venmo.

There will be bounce houses and cotton candy available for free, thanks to our jog-a-thon donations!!

AMITY FAMILIES: NONE OF OUR BUILDINGS IS CURRENTLY IN A LOCKDOWN, LOCKOUT, OR ANY OTHER THREAT!

Due to a malfunction we are experiencing with some of our systems, they are giving off false alarms, and we are working to fix these as soon as we can. The MS experienced this in real-time and they followed safety protocols, but are back to operating as normal.

In the event of a real emergency, the schools and/or district would work to notify families as soon as possible, while keeping the safety of our students and staff as a top priority. However, today is NOT THAT DAY.

All staff and students are safe. Please disregard anything you may have heard that contradicts this announcement.
