Hey friends!! We are super excited to be celebrating our 20th year of dance at Covington Dance! I am humbled by the support from our wonderful community over the years! We will start planning our 20th anniversary recital soon! But, we need your help!! What dances should we bring back?? Which ones stand out over the years??? Alumni~ Get ready and start stretching!! We are bringing you back too!!

Congratulations to the dancers on Hammond Eastside’s dance team on an incredible summer camp! They learned routines that they will use this year, worked on improving their technique and bonded as a team. Best of Luck to you all this season! We will be cheering for you. 💜

We are starting the process to send out our class placements and ‘26-‘27 schedule this week. We will send them by your individual class and start with our younger classes then work up to the older classes. We hope to have everything completed by the end of next week! Looking forward to YEAR 20 of CDC!! 🎉

We had the best time working with the Jewels from Sumner Middle! The team learned 5 dances in 3 days, worked on dance team technique, participated in team building exercises and even celebrated a birthday!! We can’t wait to see all of the awesome things you accomplish this season! 💙🏈❤️

We hope all of our dancers are having a great start to summer! We are actively working on class placements and hope to have the fall schedule out in a few weeks. The following classes are full: Petite Jazz, Adv. Jazz and Lyrical I, Hip Hop 4 and Hip Hop 5. (Many other classes only have 2-3 spots left.) Please make sure to get your registration in to us so we can guarantee your dancer gets in the classes they want! ✨Favorite CDC Memory: My favorite memories will always be when we are doing our dances and someone just starts laughing and then it causes everyone to laugh!

✨What you will miss most about the studio: I will miss seeing all of my friends and teachers every week.

✨Future Plans: I plan to attend Northshore Technical Community College to become a Veterinarian Tech.
