From garden to discovery. 🌿💚

Our little gardeners harvested rosemary, mint, oregano, and fennel, exploring each herb's unique scent, texture, and purpose. Through hands-on learning, they discovered that gardens don't just grow plants—they grow curiosity, confidence, and a love for nature. 🌱✨

From tiny seeds to little hands at the table. 🌱🍅🥕💚

There's something special about watching children grow what they eat. They planted the seeds, watered the garden, watched each plant grow, harvested the vegetables, and finally enjoyed tasting the food they worked so hard to grow.

Every harvest is a lesson in patience, responsibility, science, and gratitude. These are the moments that create lifelong learners and healthy habits.

This is why we garden. ❤️

Even though the Louisiana heat has kept our outdoor adventures short, our garden continues to give us so much to discover! 🌿☀️

This week our little explorers found Black Swallowtail caterpillars happily munching on our fennel, spotted our first cucumber, and admired the beautiful zinnias that just keep blooming.

Every trip outside is a chance to slow down, observe, ask questions, and appreciate God's creation. From tiny caterpillars to colorful flowers, nature is one of our favorite classrooms. 🐛🥒🌸

We can't wait to see what we discover next!

Little School Daycare families are invited to help us fill shoeboxes with love!

We're collecting **new**:
🎁 Small toys & "wow" items
🧸 Dolls & stuffed animals
🚗 Toy cars & trucks
⚽ Balls (with pump if needed) & jump ropes
🖍️ Crayons, colored pencils & markers
📚 Coloring books & notebooks
✏️ Pencils, sharpeners & erasers
🪥 Toothbrushes & combs
🧼 Bars of soap & washcloths
🧦 Socks
🎀 Hair bows, accessories & costume jewelry
😎 Sunglasses & reusable water bottles

💵 donations are also appreciated as each box packed has shipping fee. Cash or Venmo will be used for these costs. Venmo -Sparks09

📍 Drop off donations at Little School Daycare or First Baptist Church Amite on Sunday mornings.

All donations will be used to prepare and pack shoeboxes through **FBC Amite**, sharing God's love and the hope of Jesus with children around the world. ❤️📦
