We just wanted to let you know about the Korean American Grassroots Conference that will be taking place this July in Washing D.C. It's a great opportunity to learn more about civic engagement within the Korean American community, and KAGC will be covering all the costs, so please apply!

Hi everyone,

Professor Jeong invites all of you to Korean Table in the small conference room in Val. This was the old lounge, and you can find it to your right as soon as you enter Val, before entering the atrium.

It will be held today, Thursday, from 12 to 1 PM. So bring your lunches and chat with us! Anyone with an interest in Korean is welcome to join us.

Today, at 4:30PM in the Red Room, Robert Teranishi, co-director for the Institute for Immigration, Globalization, and Education at University of California Los Angeles, will be giving a talk titled "Leveraging the Power of Diversity to Achieve Academic Excellence."

Following his talk, there will be a student meeting and discussion with Robert Teranishi in the Fitch Room, 208 Converse Hall with food from 5:30-6:30pm. Norm Jones, Franklin Odo, and Robert Hayashi will also be present.
