Our fourth and final installment of the semester, presented in partnership with featured MASSively talented student artists Noah White, Alma Orgad, and Colgan Tyskwicz, who delivered an incredible night of live music at UMass Downtown.

Wednesday's Chemical Engineering for the Common Good was all about rethinking what we throw away. ♻️💡

Guests learned about the hidden life of “unrecyclable” multilayer plastics, like chip bags, and heard how senior University of Massachusetts Amherst Chemical Engineering students are designing innovative re/upcycling processes to turn that waste into valuable products.

Last Wednesday's HeART Work explored how art and music can support mental, physical, and social wellbeing. 🎨🎶

Guests enjoyed live performances from talented students of the UMass Songwriting & Production Club, helping create a welcoming and creative atmosphere for the evening.

Participants then joined UMass Creative Arts Therapist Cathe Bruso, LMHC, in co-creating a community arts mural.
