This is an A-style mandolin, hand-carved of solid wood in China by Afanti Musical Instruments and imported by Mando Mo Strings in Holyoke. It has a Brekke adjustable bridge and good hand-wound German strings. It comes with a custom hard shell case.

This is a student violin. The brand name is Palatino. Made in China of solid wood, it comes with a wooden bow, a full size padded case, shoulder straps and a cake of rosin.
