Nominations for 2023-24 GCC Officers are still open this week! If you or a friend are interested in being more involved in planning chemistry department events and community outreach, this is a great place to start! All positions are open for nominations, but especially treasurer, secretary and board of directors. Depending on position and event planning, it should only take about 1 hour of your time a week. GCC Meeting TODAY, Thursday 7/13 at 1:00 pm in NSC 306. We will be finalizing our hiking trip plans, discussing officer elections for the 2023-2024 academic year, and distributing t-shirt pre-orders. Come hang out and have some snacks with your fellow grad students!

The GCC is hosting an End of Year Picnic on Saturday July 8th from 11 am - 3 pm at Ellicott Creek Park Shelter 2. Join your fellow UB Chemistry Graduate Students in celebrating the end of the academic year with food, music, and games. You are welcome to bring your favorite lawn game as well. Join us on Tuesday, May 23rd for the announcement of the T-Shirt Design Winner and to finalize our budget for our end of the semester events! There will be sandwiches and chips!🥪

A reminder that the call for UB Chemistry T-Shirt Designs is coming to a close! 👕Submit your designs to [email protected] by May 5th. After going through all of the submissions, we will run a poll and pick the winning design to print.

Join us on Wednesday, April 26th to discuss potential events and activities to use our remaining budget for the semester and for more information on the t-shirt design contest. There will be pizza and wings!🍕🍗
