Area Stock Show

Our students wrapped up the Area Show with grit, grace, and some big accomplishments. Several exhibitors made sale, and every student represented Amherst with pride.

A heartfelt shoutout to our seniors, who stepped into the ring for the very last time. Their leadership, dedication, and example have shaped this program in the best ways, and we’re grateful for the legacy they leave behind.

From first‑year showers to seasoned competitors, this group showed heart and walked away with achievements, growth, and memories worth celebrating. We couldn’t be prouder of them!

San Angelo Stock Show

We took two heifers to San Angelo this week, and Ruby showed with determination and heart. One heifer didn’t place as high as we hoped, but the work, effort, and sportsmanship in that ring made us incredibly proud.

Her second heifer came home with a 2nd place finish in her class, and we are absolutely thrilled with that result! Moments like these remind us why the long hours and hard work matter.

Littlefield County Stock show

We couldn’t be prouder of our students. For several, it was their very first year showing, and for a few seniors, it was one of their last, and they all represented Amherst incredibly well.

Everyone placed solidly, gained valuable experience, and walked away with the kind of practice that will serve them well heading into their area show. The hard work, early mornings, and dedication truly showed.

Way to go, kids. We’re cheering you on every step of the way!

Amherst FFA has been busy so far this year!
