CLAIRE!!! Claire was nominated forfor “being the best big, making me feel welcome and always being positive!” Claire has become such a beloved member of our fraternity! “Hi, I’m Claire and I’m a sophomore in Landscape Architecture. I’m from Los Angeles and I like music, art, and spending quality time with my friends!! My favorite thing about APO is the sense of community and the good we do for others. It’s made me feel really welcome at UMass and I’m happy I joined. 💗 💗”

Alyssa!!! Alyssa was nominated because “She is one of the sweetest people I know, is kind and well communicative, and makes me feel really welcome in APO. I’m genuinely happy that she is our FVP, she is doing an amazing job and she deserves this nomination because of her dedication to others and her ability to make everyone feel like they belong.” This is so wonderful to hear!! Alyssa really does work so hard to plan fellowships for brothers, and she makes sure that there is an option for every single one of our members. Thank you for all of the hard work you do! We are so proud of you!! A little bit about her below.

“Hi I’m Alyssa! I’m a junior neuroscience major and pre-med student working towards a certificate in civic engagement and public service. I like climbing, baking, traveling, being outdoors, and hanging out with my friends! I pledged APO last fall, and I’m the fellowship vice president. My favorite thing about APO is all the amazing people I’ve met through it and spending time with them (at fellowships!) I also love making a positive impact on the community.”

Had so much fun at the PORQ conference this weekend learning more about the three pillars of APO and meeting friends from other chapters!!

SONAM!!!!!!! Sonam was nominated because he “has always been one of the hardest workers in APO. He comes early, stays late, never complains, and always gives 100%. He is kind to everyone and super funny. He makes everything so much more fun and inspires me to be as hardworking as he is.” Sonam truly is the embodiment of what APO stands for! We are so lucky to have him as a member of our chapter, and we can’t wait to see all of the wonderful and amazing things he is going to accomplish!! A little bit about him below.

“Hi I’m Sonam, I’m an NRC and Italian double major, and I live in Easthampton. I like studying, helping people, going on adventures, spilling tea at Italian coffee hour, horseback riding (UMass western team), and of course hanging out with my APO brothers!! My favorite things about APO are definitely the friends I’ve made along the way (literally dozens) and the opportunities to volunteer at so many cool things like Gift of life, Alex’s lemonade stand, and Moses scout reservation!”

Allie McIntosh!! “My name is Allie and I’m from Westford, MA! I’m a junior Psych/Neuro Major with a Bio minor. I enjoy working out, cooking, and reading. My favorite part about APO has been meeting so many amazing, kind people!”

Petr Quinn🥳🥳!!! Petr was nominated for brother of the week for “stepping into a new role as pledge trainer and making all the pledges feel comfortable at pledge retreat!” Congratulations Petr, we are so proud!! Learn a little bit about him below:

“Hi everyone I am Petr Quinn and I’m from Rockland, Massachusetts. I’m a sophomore business major at Isenberg. I enjoy doing anything outdoors, like fishing, hiking, and camping. I also love training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with UMassBJJ. I also love to study languages and I’m taking Russian this semester. My favorite part of APO is the fellowships, where I can hang out with friends or make new ones.”

Last Sunday our brotherhood went to our semesterly scheduled trip to Cabin where we bonded, volunteered, and ate some yummy food! Can’t wait for next semester!!! Go Kappa Omicron!
