Meet the Amherst School Board Candidates

This year there are four candidates running for two seats on the Amherst School Board: Michael Almeida, Terri Behm, Katie Cokely, and Obadiah Dart.

Since 2017, the Amherst Education Association has asked candidates to share their views on school board governance, public education, and issues affecting the Amherst School District. All candidates were invited to respond to the same questionnaire, and their responses are published below.

We encourage Amherst voters to take a few minutes to review the candidates’ responses and learn more about their perspectives on issues affecting our schools.
