Congratulations to friend of McCormack Brian Burke, on his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame!

Burke is a former NHL general manager, executive, and president of hockey operations and former executive director of the PWHL. Burke was a guest of McCormack in December 2025, in conversation with NHL commissioner and executive-in-residence Gary Bettman. Burke also visited with the UMass Hockey team and McCormack student leaders.

Brian will be inducted in November in the Builder category. The 2026 HOF Class includes Patrice Bergeron, Carey Price, Pekka Rinne, Keith Tkachuk, and Cindy Curley in the Player category.

Kudos to recently retired Professor Steve McKelvey on his induction into the Western Massachusetts Baseball Hall of Fame, recognizing his longtime contributions to the game as a league marketing executive, baseball agent with DiaMMond Management Group and chief architect of the McCormack Department‘s unparalleled student pipeline into MLB front office careers.
