THANK YOU Keith Wyant for supporting the Amherst Marching Comets and sponsoring our competition season!

From keeping our students fueled with snacks during long competition days to helping cover the costs of props, costumes, travel, and everything it takes to bring our show to life, every bit of support makes a difference!

But Keith goes the extra mile by doing even more, pulling our prop trailer on competition days! His support goes beyond a sponsorship, and we are so grateful for the time and dedication he gives to our students.

Our Comets work hard to represent Amherst with pride, and supporters like Keith help make it all possible. Thank you, Keith, for investing in our students and being such a valued part of our AMC family!

Thank you A & J OROSSZ CONSTRUCTION for sponsoring our 8th Grade & HOCO Dinner!

Their generosity is helping us continue the tradition of providing pizza and drinks for our AMC and 8th Grade Band students after the Homecoming Parade and before the game.

A huge THANK YOU to the Amherst Athletic Association for supporting our Amherst Marching Comets!

The Amherst Athletic Association helps children and coaches develop citizenship, discipline, teamwork, physical well-being, character, courage, and integrity. Values that go far beyond the playing field.

Thanks to their generosity, our Amherst Marching Comets and the Elyria Band will both be able to recharge with 3rd Quarter snacks and refreshments after their halftime performances!

IT’S BANDTOBER!

Friday Night Lights.
Saturday competitions.
Early mornings.
Late nights.
After-school rehearsals.

31 MORE DAYS to push, polish, and get it JUST RIGHT.

We’ll be tired.
We won’t know what day it is.
We may not even be sure where we are anymore.

But we DO know where we’re going… RIGHT WHERE WE BELONG!

Qualifying for State is a HUGE accomplishment… but AMC isn’t done. Not even close.

Did you know that a competition show is almost never exactly the same from week to week?

A marching band’s show is constantly evolving. Week to week, competition to competition, the drill, music, visuals, and details are adjusted based on judge feedback.
And now, our goal is simple:

BEAT OUR LAST SCORE.

Because the goal isn’t simply to qualify for State. The goal is to walk off the field better than we were the last time we walked on it.

One rehearsal.
One adjustment.
One performance.
One score at a time.
