As a Biology and Spanish double major, Alanna Darling ‘09 was a CoSIDA Academic All-American, 3x All-NESCAC and All-New England selection. Recently completing her EM residency, Alanna works an attending emergency physician at Beth Israel Deaconess and the Boston-area community hospitals.

Liz Foley '07 works as a physician in a busy emergency department in Hartford, CT. "It is an exciting and rewarding job, although at times exhausting and stressful, and never more so than during the COVID-19 pandemic. We saw many critically ill patients at the peak of the pandemic in CT, but fortunately the number of COVID cases has declined in our area. I was also pregnant during this time which added additional anxiety. I'm currently home with a healthy newborn and am grateful we were able to stay safe!

I am and have always been proud to be part of AWS. Thank you to the many alumni out there working to get us through this. Looking forward to a return to normalcy with Saturday afternoon games, reunions, and of course, tailgates"

In the purple and white, Lee-Jay Henry-Thompson ‘05 was a two-time NESCAC champion and advanced to the NCAA championship round. As a student, LeeJay was part of ACEMS and worked as an EMT in Springfield before earning her nursing degree in 2010. When not at work, she enjoys being a soccer mom, relaxing, and spending time with her two amazing girls and her husband Kevon.
