Doctoral Student Skylar Holmes Receives NIH Fellowship Award to Examine Muscle Fatigue’s Impact on Knee Osteoarthritis | UMass Amherst
Holmes recently received a two-year, $44,916 F31 Predoctoral Fellowship Award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to investigate muscle fatigue’s impact on gait mechanics and neuromuscular control in knee osteoarthritis.

Not Always a Walk in the Park: Study Aims to Understand Muscle Fatigue in Older Adults | UMass Amherst
A team of scientists in the School of Public Health and Health Sciences is focused on understanding how muscle fatigue and changes in gait affect the ability of people in their 70s and 80s to remain active. They are recruiting both younger and older adults to participate in the study.
