I am so proud to announce the results of the kiddos trip to the State FCCLA Culinary Competition in VA beach. They finished with 2 State Championships and 2 Runner Up finishes, besting any other high school culinary program in the state. Congrats team, it has been an honor to work with you 😎🫡

The very first Amherst High School Culinary Arts Program State Championship banner is officially up! Congratulations to Will Carver for earning this amazing Win for his chicken ninja skills at last years competition. He will defend his title along with 9 other students who will compete this April in VA Beach.

Attention all friends! This is the ONE and only time per year that we ask for YOUR financial donation to help us fund our yearly trip to VA Beach for State Culinary Competition in APRIL!! My amazing group of kiddos have been training and preparing all year long to go for 3 days to VA BEACH and hopefully bring home several more State Championships for our Culinary Department! We have been catering and selling products all year to raise funds, but we do need your support in our final push to get to our goal of $6,000 to cover the costs of the trip. The Amherst Community is such a supportive and passionate group and we love and appreciate your support.

Thanks to YOUR support at the Apple Festival we used our profits from selling our doughnuts and pickles to buy our culinary program's FIRST Smoker/Grill!

For the grand first firing we are doing the 1st Annual Baby Back Rib Competition!! 4 teams, 4 different spice rubs and sauces (all scratch made). Finishing and judging coming tomorrow so stay tuned 😁😎

Exciting News! This Saturday at the Apple Harvest Festival held at Amherst High School our Culinary Program will have a table inside located in the Cafeteria where we will be fundraising by selling:
-World Famous Cold Pack Premium Pickles!
-Hot and Fresh Apple Cider Doughnuts!
-Pickle Hot Sauce
-Dill Pickle Sauce (dipping sauce, salad dressing etc)
We will be there SATURDAY ONLY from 9am-4pm or until we sell out 🙂
