Join us for an End-of-Semester Outing to Yankee Candle and Tree House Brewing Company!

As the end of the semester is fast approaching, it's time to relax and unwind with your colleagues from the UMass International Faculty and Staff Employee Resource Group! We would like to invite you to join us for an exciting outing on Saturday, May 20th, where we'll start with browsing and a hands-on candle making activity at Yankee Candle and then visit the renowned Tree House Brewing Company.

The Yankee Candle Village in South Deerfield Massachusetts is 90,000 square feet of entertainment and shopping for all ages, with each room having its own unique theme and décor. We’ll treat you to a $5 gift card which you can use to dip-dye a pre-made wax ornament or to customize your own label with a personal photo for any large Yankee Candle. We will conclude the day with a visit to the Tree House Brewing Company where you can taste their delicious craft beer and enjoy a delicious selection of pizzas made in-house (the pizza is on us!).

We are pleased to invite you to our next luncheon on April 12, organized by the UMass ERG for International Staff and Faculty Network.

The event is scheduled in the Hadley Room of the Campus Center from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, and you are welcome to attend even if you can only make it for part of the time.

The theme of the luncheon is "Connection and Community Building." As members of the international community at UMass, we know how important it is to build connections with our colleagues and create a strong sense of community. This luncheon provides a unique opportunity to come together, meet new people, and deepen existing relationships.

During the luncheon, you will have the chance to connect with other international faculty and staff members, share your experiences and challenges, and explore ways to support each other in achieving personal and professional goals.
