Amesbury Recreation Amesbury Youth Recreation has been serving our community for the past 16 years!

We are proud to offer not only top-notch before and after school care programs and summer enrichment activities, but also to participate in community-wide activities like Kids Day in the Park, Amesbury Days, and more! We partner with amazing vendors from all around the Seacoast area to provide our community with the best programs for the whole family to enjoy. Amesbury Recreation is excited to share that Fall programming for both adults and youth is now open, with even more offerings on the way.

Adults can join co-ed volleyball, paddling, tennis, intro to acting, and co-ed pickup soccer.

Youth programs include basketball, elementary theatre, intro to aerospace, middle school theatre, and teen on-camera acting.

Still have World Cup fever? Join us for Coed Adult Pickup Soccer at Landry Stadium on Tuesday evenings. This program is designed for adults looking for a fun, low-pressure way to play soccer, stay active, and enjoy some friendly competition. Teams will be formed each night based on attendance, and game format may range from small-sided play to larger games depending on numbers.

$48 for season, $10 drop in

Format

Rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP) and enjoy a relaxing time on Lake Gardner!

Location: Lake Gardner Beach (79 High St.)
Available: Fridays–Sundays, May 29 – September 6
Rental Times: 2-hour rentals at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM

Rental Rates (includes paddle and life jacket):

Single Kayak: $30
Tandem Kayak: $45
SUP: $30

Pre-registration is required, and renters must be 18 years or older.

2 hour rentals- 11am, 1pm, 3pm time slots available.
