Coastal Connections had so much fun with Cousin Debbie learning how to tie-dye! It was definitely a little messy, but the colorful results made it all worth it! We had a blast getting creative and making some awesome tie-dye creations together!

EXCITING NEWS FROM COASTAL CONNECTIONS!
We are incredibly proud to announce that Coastal Connections, Inc. has received a THREE-YEAR ACCREDITATION from CARF International!
This achievement reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered services and continually improving the support we provide to adults with disabilities. It recognizes the dedication, compassion, and professionalism demonstrated throughout our organization every day.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our remarkable staff, the individuals we are privileged to serve, their families and caregivers, our Board of Directors, community partners, and everyone who contributed to this accomplishment. This accreditation belongs to all of you!
For the past 18 years, Coastal Connections has remained committed to helping individuals build meaningful relationships, strengthen their independence, participate in their communities, and live lives filled with purpose and opportunity. Receiving a three-year CARF accreditation reinforces that commitment and inspires us to continue moving forward.
We heard the wonderful news Friday afternoon—and we could not be more excited to share it with our community!

🍎 What an incredible day at the Cider Hill Farm Summer 5K!

On Saturday, July 11, 2026, Coastal Connections was honored to participate as one of three featured Community Rockstars in the 2026 Cider Hill Farm 5K Series. Throughout the race series, participants have the opportunity to support one of three local nonprofit organizations when registering for the event—a meaningful way to celebrate and strengthen the organizations that serve our community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone at Cider Hill Farm for believing in our mission and for creating an event that brings together fitness, family, local businesses, and community giving. Partnerships like these remind us how fortunate we are to live and work in a community that invests in one another.

This year, Coastal Connections participated in more ways than one! In addition to hosting our community tent and sharing information about our mission, we proudly entered our own Coastal team. Whether we ran, jogged, or walked, we crossed that finish line together—and had a great time doing it! It was a wonderful opportunity to build teamwork, encourage one another, and enjoy a fun morning outside together.

A special thank you goes to our amazing Coastal Connections team who volunteered their Saturday to represent our organization with kindness, enthusiasm, and pride. You are the heart of Coastal, and we couldn't do this without you.

Finally, thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent, took the time to learn about our mission, or chose Coastal Connections as their charitable donation. Your support helps create opportunities for people with disabilities to live, work, and fully participate in our community.

The summer season is officially underway at Maudslay Arts Center!

Coastal Connections is always happy to lend a helping hand with setting up for the Summer Concert Series. We're proud to support this wonderful community tradition and look forward to another season of great music, beautiful scenery, and memorable evenings. We hope to see you there! Over the past week, our Coastal Connections community has experienced the heartbreaking loss of two individuals who were very much a part of our Coastal family.

Fran and Kathy each had their own special place in our community. They were known, they were valued, and they were loved. We are grateful for the time we shared with them and for the memories they leave behind.

Our hearts are with their families, friends, housemates, peers, staff, and all those who knew and loved them. Fran and Kathy will always be remembered as part of the Coastal Connections family. ❤️

Coastal Connections is proud to support the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce's Summer Snack Drive benefiting The Pettengill House!

We'll be collecting donations to help provide snacks for local children and families this summer through August 15, 2026. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Thank you for helping us support our community!

Our group had a wonderful visit to the Plum Island Museum of Lost Toys & Curiosities! They learned how plastic pollution impacts our environment and discovered simple ways everyone can help protect the Earth.

A special thank you to Corinn for the incredible work she has done cleaning up Plum Island and for creating such a fascinating and inspiring museum. Our individuals had a fantastic time and left with a greater appreciation for protecting our environment.
