Amesbury Montessori About Amesbury Montessori Our program is composed of children ages 2.9 to 6 years. We invite you to call and set up an appointment to visit our school.

Amesbury Montessori is a preschool and kindergarten serving Amesbury, Newburyport, Newbury, West Newbury, Merrimac, Haverhill, Salisbury and the Merrimack Valley. In this setting the children naturally respect each other's work and individual accomplishments. They take an active role in maintaining their environment, which is divided into five main areas: practical life, sensorial, language, mathe

matics and cultural. The Montessori curriculum is enriched with science, art and music/movement experiences. The curriculum meets the children's fundamental need for independence, language, discovery through the senses and investigation of the world around them.
