“I chose to spend a semester at UPRM because I wanted the chance to learn more about tropical and marine ecosystems through first-hand experience. Hence, Puerto Rico with its incredible biodiversity and opportunities for field visits in classes, has served as the perfect environment for my learning. Plus, it’s great as someone born and raised in Puerto Rico, to be close to home and be able to visit my family and cat on the weekends!”
