It's ‼️
Ever heard of a hackathon? 💻
A hackathon is a fast-paced, collaborative event where people—such as software developers, designers, and project managers—come together to build working prototypes or solve real-world problems in a limited amount of time.
What happens at a hackathon?
🤝 Students form teams
💡 They build a project in just 24–48 hours
🧑🏫 Mentors provide guidance throughout the event
🌱 Beginners are welcome
🏆 There are prizes, free food, and plenty of opportunities to learn
Hackathons give Computer Science students a chance to practice their skills, meet new people, and turn ideas into reality—all in a fun, supportive environment of friendly competition!
Have you ever participated in a hackathon, or would you like to try one? Stay tuned for innovation-driven events like this, offered at ISU 💪
