AMS 8th Grade Promotion Ceremonies

The big day is almost here! We are so excited to celebrate our incredible 8th graders as they wrap up their middle school journey and head off to high school.
Join us this Thursday, May 28 in the Ames Middle School Auditorium to honor their hard work and achievements.

To help keep things running smoothly, ceremonies are split by team:
Team A: 1:30 PM
Team M: 2:15 PM
Team S: 3:00 PM

On Thursday during lunch students had the opportunity to write a thank you note to a staff member. We weren’t sure what to expect but we were excited by the response. Jeff's Pizza Shop breakfast pizza, coffee and hot chocolate was on the menu this morning for our Ames Middle school staff’s conference prep day!

It’s show time! Ames Middle School Drama Club is proud to present Backstage Backstabbers, a one-act comedy where everything that can go wrong does go wrong. A school theater troupe is attempting to put on their show for the annual competition. After delays, complications, and possible sabotage will the show ever go on or will their dreams of winning come to an end as the stop watch ticks down?

Performances are on Friday February 27th at 7pm and Saturday February 28th at 12pm and 5pm in the Ames Middle School auditorium. Doors will open to the public 30 minutes before each performance. Tickets are $5 per person at the door and kids 5 and under can get in for free.
